In January 2024, Rebecca completed a doctoral study with people with vision impairment who live in rural locations in Southwest England. In the course of this study an innovative way of interviewing participants was developed and utilised. Findings emphasised the unique power of specific places, personal histories, childhoods, and passions for food, animals, and people to enrich daily lives.
I am a phenomenological researcher, who recognises that life occurs in the day-to-day, with objects, tools, surroundings, landscape, amenities, and digital infrastructures. Living is complex, but there are discernible common strands.
