Rebecca Woods

Rebecca's employment history is evidence that she has staying power to see through lengthy commitments. She has worked in high pressure situations over many years, most recently in social care during the Covid pandemic. Rebecca's work as a locum Rehabilitation Officer with people with Vision Impairment entailed working in short-term contracts in a variety of locations. It highlighted the necessity to establish effective working relationships quickly. Understanding urgency and remaining flexible, attentive, and patient with over-pressed colleagues were all key to being a successful freelance worker.

These previous experiences are shaping her new working pattern as a researcher, advocate, and workshop facilitator.
